Provides management, analytical, and information technology support for the Navy Lessons Learned Program (NLLP) at Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC) in Norfolk, VA and at six Fleet Sites. P E Systems supports U.S. Navy Fleet operations at Commander Third Fleet (C3F) in San Diego, CA; C4F in Mayport, FL; C5F in Manama, Bahrain; C6F in Naples, Italy; and C7F in Yokosuka, Japan. The program applies to the full range of Navy and joint military operations and other activities involving DoD assets of the Armed Forces of the United States and is focused on improving service readiness and performance.
P E Systems (formerly Summit Research Corporation) has partnered with the Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC) on the Navy Lessons Learned Program (NLLP) since its formal establishment in 1996 by the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). P E Systems has been an integral component in meeting the NLLP mission objective to serve as the singular Navy program for the collection, validation, and distribution of Carrier Strike Group, Amphibious Readiness Group, Independent Deployer and unit operational, exercise, and event feedback. We have a proven record of delivering timely, quality staff and services, and being flexible to the ever changing needs of NWDC’s NLLP and the U.S. Navy. Through the NWDC Lessons Learned Department, P E Systems has continuously worked in close coordination with the U.S. Fleet Forces (USFF) Command and the U.S. Pacific Fleet in support of the Navy for joint, multi-service, and coalition LL communities.
P E Systems’ Program Manager (PM) and Fleet Site Senior Data Analysts bring over 150 years of Navy experience and over 33 years of direct support to the NLLP program. Their intimate knowledge of naval operations and the program, as well as being fully integrated NLLP team members, has ensured NWDC’s success in delivering real-time LL support to the fleet.
- The P E Systems team is integral to NWDC as it leads advanced, cross-domain warfighting integration at all levels of naval warfare and enables cross-Warfighting Development Centers (WDC) Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP), training and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development.
- P E Systems Fleet Site representatives and Central Site management has put procedures into place to enable meta-data tagging of fleet lessons that will enable NWDC to ensure integration is addressed in WDC training and effectiveness assessments and to enable gap mitigation.
- P E Systems Central Site management was able to fill the information void following the loss of the Joint Lessons Learned Specialist which allowed for uninterrupted services and communications between NWDC and Joint Staff J-7.
P E Systems consistently delivers high quality products and services, meeting NWDC’s Lessons Learned program mission objectives. We have adapted to NWDC’s evolving needs, especially in the current budget environment. We have been, and will continue to be, a committed, integrated member of the NLLP team. P E Systems has in the past and will continue to partner with NWDC in meeting the challenges of an uncertain and fast changing pace of today’s global political environment, particularly as it impacts the Middle East, broad Pacific areas and Central Asia.
