P E Systems performs as DECC OKC’s face-to-the-customer whose prime role is to work directly with the customer on all requests for assistance in regards to DECC OKC Tier I, II, & III customer support. We also provide application and customer service support to the Air Force Operational Support Team (OST) Depot Maintenance Systems Integration (DMSI), and Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) customers.
The customer environment consists of UNISYS mainframe equipment, various Open Systems Environments (OSE), Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Environments, and unique site requirements. The DECC-OKC Open Systems include HP-UX, AIX, Linux, and Sun Solaris processing environments. The Microsoft Operating Systems server environment includes current Windows processing environments for internal and external customers. Extensive communications inter-connectivity exists among these hardware platforms. Using DISA’s Enterprise System Management tool set of software (Tivoli, HP-OpenView, Managed Objects, Knowledge Management, Remedy, Site Scope, etc.) open and track trouble calls, monitor systems and networks, and resolve problems.
Our team provides a bridge between customers and network engineers, system administrators, database administrators, and webmasters. We serve as senior technical analysts resolving the complete range of problems within the scope of the activity for operations and referring operational problems requiring highly specialized expertise to the appropriate technical expert. We coordinate, execute, implement, and maintain the installation and operation of customer application systems, as well as establishing and maintaining operation schedules.
